Yin Yoga is a slow paced, passive and introspective practice, involving different variations of supine and seated poses held for a longer period (typically 3 to 5 minutes).
Through these long holds the connective tissue around the joints is stretched and the deeper layers of fascia can be accessed therefore restoring a healthy range of motion and hydrating, lengthening those tissues.
